Cookie Notice

Last updated: to be confirmed before launch

Development placeholder

This page is a working shell, not AGG’s final legal wording. The text will be completed against the production site once the actual data flows, processors, cookie inventory, retention decisions and UK-representative assessment are confirmed. Until then, nothing here should be relied on as AGG’s legal position.

What this notice will cover

The final Cookie Notice is written against the live site rather than from a template. For each cookie or similar technology actually in use it will state the name and provider, the purpose, the category, whether it is first- or third-party where useful, how long it lasts, and whether consent is required.

What is used today

Cookies. The site sets no cookies of its own, and no analytics, advertising or remarketing technology is deployed on it.

Browser storage. Visitors browsing the site do not sign in, so no browser storage is written for them. A sign-in token is held in local storage when someone signs in to the site’s administration area.

Server-side storage. Contact enquiries are stored on the server by the website platform, not in your browser. The signup on this site currently collects no email data.

Third-party requests. The site requests the Inter web font from Google Fonts, so a request reaches that service when a page loads. That is a font request rather than a cookie or a tracker, and it is under review.

A request-level audit of the live domain — response headers, hosting and the font request — is still outstanding before launch, and this page will be updated to match it.

Consent

If non-essential cookies or tracking technologies are introduced, they will not be loaded before a valid consent mechanism is in place. That first layer will offer a real choice — accept optional cookies, reject optional cookies, or manage preferences.

Options will not be pre-ticked, rejection will not be made harder than acceptance, and continued browsing will not be treated as consent.

Managing your choice

Where a consent manager is deployed, a persistent Manage cookies link will appear in the site footer so a preference can be changed or withdrawn at any time.

No such link is shown at present, because no non-essential technology is in use. A link that had nothing to manage would not be published.

Embedded third-party content

Any embedded third-party element added later — a newsletter embed, a social embed or an anti-spam service — will be assessed for consent and disclosure requirements before it goes live, and added to the inventory on this page.

To confirm before this text is final

  • Cookie and storage inventory of the live site, run against the production domain.
  • Request-level audit of the live domain: response headers and hosting behaviour.
  • Whether the third-party font request is retained or self-hosted.
  • The consent tool to be deployed, if any non-essential technology is introduced.
  • Whether any newsletter or social embed will be added, and its consent implications.
